American doctor living in Germany.
As the founder and one of the
senior partners, Dr. Mark Antony
Galea was well intuned to the
growing health care crisis in
America and marvelled at the differences
associated with the delivery
of care at a price which is
found to be surprisenly less in
Germany..
His past personal experience may
be similarly to your own. While
attending college, Mark was in
need of a operation from a sports
injury, but with inadequate health
insurance he was not able to afford
the expected price for surgery.
Although a student in medicine
he had the knowlege to research
an alternative solution that provoked
him go offshore for the operation.
That experience back in the year
2000 was considered quite radical
for an American to travel to a
foreign land for medical care.
At the time Mark was refferring
to this endeavour as „outsourcing“
ones health care. A term quite popularly
used from his previous career in
customer servicing and in investment
banking. “Outsoucing “ may reflect
a negative response for many Americans
whom have lost their jobs from their
employers as globalization played
its part to increase the bottom-line
in many industries. For us here
